One lead design partner. One contract. All your design.
We define the goal together. We take responsibility for all the agreed design and coordinate the disciplines it requires.
We deliver the core design services in house. We appoint any additional specialist designers required and integrate them into our overall design. Die Planungsgruppe remains your contractual partner for the agreed design.
What we agree with you
A clear design scope. Together, we define the services and deliverables your project requires and identify the existing documents that will form the basis of the work.
Fixed design costs. The costs for the agreed design services are set out in the contract for work and services.
Binding design deadlines. We agree deadlines for the defined design services and coordinate with you the decisions and input needed to meet them.
Overall design with clear responsibility. We provide coordination and the contractually agreed warranty for our overall design.
Our team’s expertise supports the full range of your design needs
Architecture, building services, structural design and engineering, building physics, fire safety, and external works and landscape design are our core in-house disciplines. If your project requires further specialist design, we arrange its appointment and integration. You do not need to enter into additional design contracts.

Frequently asked questions
Does the contract also cover external specialist designers?
Yes. Where their services form part of the agreed design scope, we appoint and coordinate them. You have one contract with us for all your agreed design.
Do the fixed costs also cover construction?
The fixed costs described here apply to the agreed design. You enter into the construction contract directly with the construction company carrying out the work. Its services, prices and deadlines are agreed separately in that contract.
What happens if my project changes?
We discuss with you how the change affects the scope of services, design costs and deadlines. The contractual arrangements for the project govern this process. A new brief is not automatically treated as part of the original design scope.
Are decisions by public authorities also guaranteed?
No. Our commitments concern the design services defined in the contract. Decisions by public authorities and the required contributions of other parties must be considered separately in the project programme.
What does warranty mean in your model?
We stand behind the agreed overall design. The obligations and rights that apply to a particular project arise from the contract and the applicable rules. We explain the specific arrangements when we discuss your project.
