If your project requires a specialist design service we do not provide in house, we appoint the appropriate specialist. We integrate their services into the agreed overall design and take responsibility for coordination.
Your advantage: no additional design contracts
You enter into one contract with us for all the agreed design. Whether we deliver a discipline internally or bring in an additional specialist does not change that contractual relationship.
How additional specialist design is integrated
Clarify the need. Together, we identify the additional design required and the role it plays within the project.
Appoint the specialist. We select the appropriate specialist designer and appoint them to provide the agreed services.
Coordinate. We coordinate interfaces with the other disciplines and bring the results together within the integrated design.
What happens if a need only becomes apparent later?
We identify the additional task and establish whether it is already covered by the agreed design scope. Where an adjustment is required, we discuss its effects on services, costs and deadlines with you. The agreements for your project continue to govern the work.
One point of contact for the whole project
You do not need to organise communication between additional specialist designers and our team yourself. This coordination is part of our role as your lead design partner.
